Wii Update: Oct 10th 2007

Right now ,this doesn't appear to add anything more than the oft-rumoured USB keyboard support. The update also notes that Everybody Votes channel needs to be re-downloaded in order to work with version 1.3. Other than that, details on this update are very scarce indeed.
Perhaps this system update also addresses some display interlacing problems people have been having with certain TVs, while playing Neo Geo games.
Bottom line, it didn't brick my system: update away!
Wii VC is still damn broken
The Wii update did not fix crap. NeoGeo games are still broken over Component cables.

Thanks for stopping in and giving an update. I fully admit it was wishful thinking :)
I'm not personally experiencing the same problems as you, but it ain't right man!!! I'm tired of buying software that simply does not work (Warhawk (fixed!), Tekken Online) and having no recourse with Sony, or Nintendo or anyone for that matter.

Neo-geo games
They better freaking fix the Neo-geo games. There are millions of gamers out there with HDTVs and component cables and there is no warning about the issue before or after they get your nine bucks.
